Streams of Life Evangelistic Ministry began as a result of a strong Bible Study group which was home based and is a relatively new ministry plant, but the ministry itself is over 30 years old.  The Pastor's have traveled extensively in the evangelistic field, and in 2001 the Ministry was incorporated.

                                    About Our Pastors

Pastors Rick and Paula Hewell began their ministry in 1975 while attending Bible School.

Their walk began when their son, David, was diagnosed by three prominent physicians as having Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.  They were told that he would never walk again due to the severity of the progress of the disease.  Two year old David would be relegated to a wheelchair for the rest of his life or at a minimum would continue to suffer from severe pain and swelling in both his legs.

Pastors Rick and Paula were raised in a strong denominational church where they learned deep reverence for the Lord.  They met Jesus as they searched for an answer to their son's illness, and met Him through the Charismatic Renewal in their church.  Pastor Paula had gone to church to pray and while there, she was sitting in the back of the church and watched a group of people that were singing and appeared to be very happy.  They had asked her to join them, but didn't know anything about them.  She politely declined.  However a divine calling was about to happen.  During the course of the evening someone came forth with word of knowledge that someone needed prayer for a young child.  Pastor Paula didn't need another invitation to join, she felt as if someone pushed her from behind and she ran down to the front of the church where they prayed over her and told her to join in prayer with her husband tonight when he came home from school.  Paula met Rick at the door of their home when he returned from school.  She told him they needed to lay hands on David and pray for his healing.  The following morning they awoke to hear David running down the hallway and into their bedroom.  David was miraculously healed and continues to walk in divine health today.  Subsequently they became very strong leaders in the Chrarismatic movement and they knew that the Lord had called them to a higher place.

They are Licensed and Ordained Ministers of the Gospel.  They have their own calling, but they compliment each other with their giftings and anointings from the Lord.

Pastor Paula has been active in ministry for 34 years.  She has a five-fold ministry and operates in the office of teacher, pastor and prophet.  Pastor Paula flows in the anointing of the Holy Spirit in healing, miracles and the gifts of the Spirit.  Their ministry ushers God's people into the Presence of the Glory of God.  God confirms His Word with signs and wonders as she ministers in teaching and anointed singing.

Pastors Rick and Paula have been called and anointed of God to be a repairer of the breach and bring restoration to the Body of Christ.

The pastors have been married for 42 years and have often ministered together.  They have four (4) children and six (6) grandchildren, and another one on the way!
